On 13 October 2026, Google opened Gemini 4 Argon to developers. Google describes it as a frontier model for complex workflows across real-world software engineering, enterprise knowledge work, and cybersecurity defense, including long-horizon work such as code migrations and research.

Google says developers can start building on the paid Gemini API tier in Google AI Studio and Android Studio. Google AI Ultra subscribers can also try it in AI Studio and in Google Antigravity.

How to call it through bnrouter

bnrouter accepts the OpenAI chat completions protocol. Create an API key in the console, then send requests to the gateway base URL. This repository does not yet record a gateway model id for Gemini 4 Argon — copy the id shown in the console (or from GET /v1/models) into the model field.
